Oxfordshire Casino

IFun casino for our charitiesn the wilds of Oxfordshire, The Rotary Club of the Brickhills went to Heythrop Park to run a fun casino for a group of agricultural consultants Laurence Gould Partnership Ltd at their annual dinner. Our croupiers dealt out Poker, Black Jack and rolled the roulette wheel.

A great deal of laughter and fun was had along with the kind donation towards our International charities.

Santa Float Charities

Open DoorThe Rotary Club of the Brickhills are delighted to announce their fund-raising Santa Float raised £1680 for two charities that support the homeless.

Father Christmas waved and chatted from the Santa Float while circulating local housing estates who generously donated towards  ‘Winter Night Shelter’ and ‘Open Door’. Both charities support the homeless and vulnerably housed people, and are in need of volunteers. Thank you for all our helpers and supporters.

Race night for Little Kimble Village Hall

The team running the Race NightRace Night run by the Brickhills Rotary Club

The club was asked by Little Kimble Village to organsie and run a Fund-raising Race night in aid of the Village Hall repair fund on the 15th November 2014. This was the first time we had run this event for another organsiation and it exceeded our expectations.

A practice night was held a fortnight earlier and everyone knew exactly what they needed to do on hte night. The event was a triumph, with the punters having a great time, the organisers thoroughly enjoying themselves and over £1000 was rasied for the cause so inall a TOTAL SUCCESS.

If you would like us to run a Race Night for you for fun or to raise funds for your cause please get in touch with us by email here or by phone on 07563089373

Casino at a wedding

casino Emma BurtonThe club was asked to provide a fun casino at a wedding held in Northampton in July. We ran 2 blackjack tables, one roulette table an one three card poker table.

The guests seemed to enjoy themselves as many stayed the entire 2 hours. Two guests won enough chips to win the champagne prizes and the runner up was the brides Mother, well done Pam.

We are always pleased to provide the entertainment for events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversary's business event and more. We give the fees to our Rotary Charities so you can feel good as well.

The club was asked by members Jan and Angie if we would run a casino for their company's Christmas party. We readily agreed even though it was held on a weekday night. The venue was the Kents Hill Hilton which we know well, having run 2 casinos there before. The punters thoroughly enjoyed themselves, getting the hang of the games very quickly.

A great time was had by all of us and we look forward to doing more casinos of this type in the future. See all the pictures here on the Fundraising gallery page.

The evening went very well indeed and this cemented our relationship with the oprganisation and we hope to do more with them in the future.

Casino for Ousedale School

Fun Casino for Ousedale School run by Rotary Club of the BrickhillsRotary Club of the Brickhills runs a fun casino for Ousedale School

Chairman of our membership committee Sue asked us if we would run a casino for the end of year staff celebration. It was our pleasure to do this for her and the staff. Everyone of the guests had dressed up and took part in all the games. As the evening became more lubricated so the gambling ( for fun of course) became looser and more liberal.

The evening raised over £400 for charity thanks to the generosity of the Ousedale staff. See all the pictures taken by Emma Tuohy, here.
